iFax - Send & Receive Faxes App Reviews

Ive got a 3rd generation iPad with the latest iOS you can have on it, 9.3.5. Had this for quite a few years now. Its author had ironed out some bugs, to be fair, but seemed to concentrate more on the splash screen & interfaces rather than fix the crashing that invariably would occur. The last fax I sent was in March 2017; now, it consistently crashes out & I can no longer send any faxes, no matter whether I go into it right after resetting my iPad or turning off my VPN. I Hope this gets fixed, and soon, otherwise Ill delete the app & no longer subscribe to it.

The app was extremely easy to use. The initial set up was easy. The credit to page ratio is 8 credits per page sent. I bought the 84 credits but I did not have enough credits for the number of pages that I was sending. The app gave me the option to pay $5.99 to send the fax or pay $5.99 for credits (I did not understand the difference so I just paid the $5.99 to send the fax and I have 84 credits remaining because it did not use the credits I paid $2.99 for initially, which is fine because I am sure I will need to send a fax again sometime in the future. Other than the confusion the app is great!

This app has allowed me to get a lot of work done from the car, from home, and on the go. Ive sent faxes from dropbox and email attachments, It works fantastic! Cant wait to use the receive fax function.

After charging me $0.99, this app only sent the cover page and not the body of the fax. It sent me a received message claiming all pages were received but the person on the other end only received the first page. We tried it again and the same thing happened again. Ripoff app.

I needed something quick and fast to get my job done because one of the other new fax apps I downloaded that also received rave reviews -- had a snag. It wouldnt send my fax due to a "Maintenance Error." I quickly set out to find the next best fax app and low and behold I found it! A little pricey, but got my job done lickety split! I am happy with the lightning speed fax sending and lightning speed alert I received from the app to let me know the recipient received my fax successfully. And no joke: it has been thundering and lightning all evening! Thank you for being there for me when I really needed you!

This was a very good app when I first got it about two years ago. It undergoes constant updates on the basis it is improving and eliminating bugs. However, in the new update where they changed the UI, the program has major bugs, especially in the PC version, and my Mac version crashes. It looks like the new UI is designed to sell you a "free" fax number and the rest of the program has degraded.

I use this app for almost 6 months and recently use for payment for my business with my business credit card and I saw weird charge from amazon although I didnt have one. I was really happy to send my fax easily and so sad now. I hope IFAX find the way to protect their costumer information. I wanted to give them 4 stars for the very first month but I cant after all frustrating because of my account charge.

Said fax number was wrong so I tried faxing it from a legit fax machine and went right away

Faxes may be a bit more expensive to send but you have three options for cover pages and the faxes are clear to read. No blurring out important information. Love it!

I was able to fax in my timecards from my phone!! Awesome app!

Have used this app for years to send my faxes from home. Since the new app update faces became so much easier to upload pages and send faxes. Would highly recommend to others!

This app is terrible and does not work. It charges you to send a fax and then fails to send the fax. When you ask support to give you a refund, they tell you to ask Apple. AVOID THIS APP

Very good & inexpensive!

Cant customize cover page - fields wont fill in. Buy credits and you have to use tons to send one fax (example: 250 credits to send a small fax, so you can never tell how much it will cost you). I will look for better and understandable app.

Worst app ever!!!! They charged me for sending faxes they said went through then said the fax wasnt sent! On top of that they charged my account for going past the trial window and made it unreasonably difficult to cancel their service! DO NOT trust this app!!! It will say it sent the fax when it hasnt. This had a devastating affect on my professional life!!!!!
