Will not send a fax, and customer support is not existent all I get is a pre canned reply

Take your money and app doesnt work. How can Apple allow frauds like this to sell their apps?

They make you pay for credits after you get fax set up and ready to go

Kept giving a "failed to send fax" error but never a valid reason. After several "resend for no additional charge" attempts it began to tell me the document changed and the price changed but nothing changed about the document. Never a successful transmission but they successfully charged my account. Support responded but clearly didnt actually read the initial support request and was unhelpful.

Until this past week, I had not used this app in a couple of years. I had only used it infrequently before that with few complaints since I simply didnt have the need to fax things. The other day my husband faxed some sensitive-ish information to our insurance company. The first fax only sent the cover sheet. We were charged. The second fax would not send. (Still hadnt as of yesterday, according to my end of the software.) For reason given, it simply sated that it failed to send and that I would not be charged if I tried again. Nothing helpful like "file too large" or similar information. I contacted customer support and asked for help understanding why it would not send so that we could adjust or understand for future faxes. I received a poorly-worded response within two days that, according to their records, the fax had actually been successfully sent to the number I reported. I responded that according to my records on their software, a blank fax had indeed sent to that number but another had still not , therefore I would like a refund if the charge instead of continuing to use their software. I received another poorly-worded response within 24 hours stating that they had been able to send the fax on their end with no problem and were sending a screenshot to prove it. 1) This is not what I asked them to do. I asked for help troubleshooting the problem so I could send faxes on my end in the future. 2) The fax no longer needed to be sent since we had already gone to a grocery store (of all things) and paid extra to send it the old fashioned way. 3) I could not find anything in their policies indicating that they may have access to your faxes, how they protect that information, how they manage any access to that information, etc. Because they have accessed my document without my permission—and also because I wasnt looking for a "sure you did," followed by a "see? its easy!" response to my request for troubleshooting assistance—for my next trick, I have deleted this app and will be (attempting to) deactivate my account. In the future, for the amount and type of faxes I need to send, I will just feel safer sending sensitive information from a grocery store where I can keep a better line of sight on who gets access to what information. Others who are more tech savvy might feel secure using this app or be able to take precautions here. I dont mind admitting Im not savvy enough to feel secure enough with this app or its support staff.

Spent over an hour trying to send a single page fax to my doctors office. Dont waste your time.

This app was fantastic a year or two ago, but didnt need it for a while, paid up front once I did need it again and it capital s-ucks!! Getting tired of being ripped off from iTunes... done with Apple all together.

This is absolutely useless. Has no purpose doesnt send or receive. Keep looking dont waste your time. Does nothing it says it does. Doesnt send or receive.

Good for faxing but they make it VERY DIFFICULT to cancel the subscription and it is very pricey. If you need a quick app for faxing it works but not good for a one time thing.

Do Not try the so-called free trial. They will continue to charge you without your knowledge. You will not be able to contact them to demand a refund. The iFax app is not user friendly so I did not use and I was billed from July to December without being aware. Dont make that mistake. Youve been warned.

This app is awesome. I scan my documents with the cam scanner plus app and fax with this iFax. Purchase credits straight from the iFax app and you pay with your iTunes account. The cost is reasonable. You will love it!!

This app decides to take money for faxes and NEVER send them after taking your money. Dont waste your money on this "free" app that charged me over ten dollars for nothing. Customer service is a joke. They avoid giving a refund at all costs and then when a refund is their only option left, they ignore you and dont reply. If zero star ratings were an option, this app doesnt even deserve one star.

Most expensive app and it doesnt work. Purchased $17.99 per month and it lost my number. They fixed the program in 3 days. Second month $17.99 again and you cant even send a fax they want you to pay for outgoing faxes in addition. Oh wait and then it didnt work again!

Ive been using I am for a couple of years now. I havent had a single issue with it so far. As far as Im concerned its the best fax app on iOS. However I say that with limited knowledge because its the only one Ive ever used. So I cant knock any of the other ones. All I know is that this one is great.

If I could give it NEGATIVE STARS I would!!! Piece of crap! With my job its imperative that I get faxes out by my deadlines. I pay the 2.99 and try to send faxes and it crashes. I try it over and over and nothing. POS APP!!

Tried to use once, took the picture of what I wanted to fax and app put the pic on a tilt, kept telling me I didnt have a valid fax number and finally when I went to send, I was informed I needed to buy credits. Downloaded fax burner and sent a fax for free in half the time

I have used it for several years now and though there have been some updates that were better than others, this app is now working well. I use it on a regular basis and love it. My only issue is that a few times, the fax sent is not legible from receivers end - too dark. If you can correct that, it will be worth 5 stars.

I use this app once or twice a month. Its a perfect convenient way to fax when I need it right away. I know it costs .99 or credits to send a fax, but so much better than having to find a Staples or other fax place that will be less convenient and still cost you money. If you need fax devices once in a while and want the convenience of it being on your phone, this is a great App. Having a dedicated incoming number makes this better than other apps like Fax Burner if you need to receive faxes from people.

Before you even start anything they charged me $17.99! Had to cancel. Useless app..Beware of them charging you at time of download!!
